Sister Ralph Show: May 7th
If you are newer to our school, you might not have heard about our student talent show called the Sister Ralph Show. Sister Ralph was a former grade five, music and library teacher at St. Mary’s who loved performing arts. She led the choirs and speech arts for years. The Sister Ralph talent show is scheduled for May 7th. Interested students are welcome to audition during the week of April 15-18. Auditions are at lunchtime. (Students come straight to auditions with their lunch.)
Students are asked to sign up at the bulletin board by the Grade One class and come prepared for their audition. In the past, Acts have been varied. We have piano players, poetry recitals, singing, magic, horse jumping (on a video) etc. If you or your child have any questions, please ask Michelle Quinn or Cara Carmelo.
Tuition increase
I am so grateful you have chosen our school for your child(ren). I continue to be blessed as the principal here. We have incredible staff that care deeply about your children on a daily basis. Our students bring us much joy! With much conversation and a hard look at the budget, we are increasing the tuition rate for the first child next year. The increase is the difference of $10/month. (First child was $340 and is now $350). Thank you for being patient while we navigated this process.
April Mass at the school and First Holy Communion
This month Grade 6 and Kindergarten will host Mass on April 18th at 9 AM.
It is always appreciated (and special) to see smiling faces out in the seats! Please consider making the time to support your child at mass, even if their class isn’t hosting mass that day. We also are excited to celebrate our students, Abigail Stanley, Chikamso and Somto Akabogu as they receive their First Holy Communion Sacrament on Sunday April 28th at St. Mary’s Church. Mass begins at 11 AM that morning and all are welcome to attend!
May God Bless all of you,
Vanessa Fer
